More Information
XRT/3d 3.0 continues in the XRT tradition of high quality, flexible features at a reasonable price. XRT widgets may be licensed for a single development machine or for a network-site, or even for your entire corporation. There are no run-time fees or royalties for distributing end-user applications you build with any of the XRT widgets.
Other Features
XRT/3d has many useful features. For example:
- You can drape shading from one dataset over a surface defined by a second dataset to create a 4D graph.
- Data that you provide for graphing can be aligned on a regular or irregular grid, and can contain missing values or "holes".
- XRT/3d comes with source code for sampling routines which will create reasonably sized datasets from your large datasets using splining techniques.
- You can specify your own zoning and contouring styles (for example, you might want every fifth contour level to be displayed with a thick red dashed line).
- You can even specify your own distribution method instead of the built-in linear distribution routines.
Image Output Capabilities
XRT/3d can output Encapsulated PostScript (EPS) in either a bitmap or true PostScript format.
You can also output your graphs in any of these other images formats:
- CGM
- XWD
- XPM
- JPEG
- PNG
- or your own registered image file types.
Source code for a sample dialog box is also included with XRT/3d
MVC Kit
XRT/3d also comes with the Model View/Control (MVC) Kit, an add-on that enables developers to present multiple views of single set of data in XRT/graph, XRT/table and XRT/3d. Views can be any type of 2D/3D chart or table. Changes made to the base data are automatically updated in all views, and changes made to a view by the user can be automatically reflected in the base data.
