announced that Reuters, the global information company, recently
entered into an agreement with TCS. Under the terms of the deal, TCS
will develop a private-label version of its marketStream(TM)
financial streaming data product for Reuters to offer to a subset of
its subscriber base. TCS will customize the product to include
Reuters branding and content. In addition, TCS will host the
application and provide tier two and three support.
The product will enable end-user Reuters subscribers to view
select Reuters financial data and news on their BlackBerries to keep
in touch with the market when they are not using their Reuters
market data terminals. The marketStream private-label service
includes comprehensive alert capabilities, multiple watch-list
support, Web-based management tools, and extensive configuration
options for data and chart viewing. End-users may choose to have the
service on a variety of compatible, wireless handheld devices
available from major wireless carriers across the globe.
